Science Natural Home for Optimists

Lord Browne welcomes students at prestigious opening ceremony claiming that “science is a natural home for optimists”

300 students from over 50 countries gathered together at the Royal Geographic Society on Thursday 29th July to celebrate the start of this year’s LIYSF, with key note speakers Lord Browne of Madingley and Professor Nigel Brandon. Students were also welcomed warmly to Imperial College by Professor Julia Buckingham, Pro Rector for Education.
