Booking Conditions

Participation Conditions:

1. Participation is open to students of science born between 28 July 1988 and 11 August 1993.
2. The Forum is conducted throughout in English and participants should have a good knowledge of the language.
3. Bookings can be accepted only if the application is submitted through a recognised school, college or educational group.

Fees:

The fee for participation is £1,395 per place.  This covers accommodation in a University Hall of Residence including dinner, bed and breakfast.  Lunch boxes are provided except on Saturday and on the days of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.  A London Travel Pass is provided for travel on buses and underground trains in Central London (Zone 1) for programmed events.  The participation fee also covers the full programme of Lectures, Seminars and Visits (including transport out of London), together with the social programme, maps and other necessary documentation. 

Payments:

1. A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 per place is payable at the time of booking.
2. The balance of the fee (£1,295) must be paid by 1 June 2010.

Discount:  If the deposit is paid by 1 March 2010 the balance of the fees will be discounted by £50.00 per place.

Payment Methods:

Payments can be made by:

1. Direct Bank Transfer.
2. Cheque (in Pounds Sterling, drawn on a London Bank Branch).
3. International Bank Draft in Pounds Sterling.
4. Credit Card through PayPal - please advise if you wish to pay by credit card and we will email you a secure, online money request.

Full instructions on how to make balace payments will be detailed on the invoice.

Cancellations:

1. Any booking cancelled after 31st March 2010 will be subject to cancellation charge of £500.
2. Any booking cancelled after the 1 July 2010 will be charged the full participation fee (less any deposit paid).

Other Charges:

1. Additional nights' accommodation: before or after LIYSF 2010 for participants (and their families) can be arranged; costs will be available on request.
2. Letters in support of visa applications are provided free of charge before 1 June 2010.  After this date a charge of £25 will apply to individual letters and £50 for Group letters.
